Entitlement Services Projects
Alpine 93/40
This project consisted of 210 apartment buildings located at the intersection of Hwy 93 and Hwy 40 in Whitefish, Montana. Brandon Theis, with Civil Solutions, brought this project through it’s entitlement stage with the approval of it’s annexation, initial zoning, and development agreement. Following these entitlement efforts, Civil Solutions completed the civil site design, necessary city and state agency coordination, and performed construction administration throughout the course of the project.
North West View Subdivision
This project consisted of creating a subdivision on approximately 43 acres of land in Kalispell, Montana. The entitlement path required rezoning the property to match the intended use of the property to eliminate the need for a Planned Unit Development. Following the entitlement efforts, Civil Solutions continued on the traditional subdivision process from preliminary plat through construction and final plat.

Site Development Projects
Whitefish High School
As a subconsultant to A&E Architects, Civil Solutions provided civil and site services for the Whitefish High School expansion project in Whitefish, Montana. The site posed significant challenges understanding the existing underground utilities across the site as it had been renovated many times. Civil solutions was able to understand the existing infrastructure such that the needs of the existing facility as well as the needs created by the expansion could be addressed as efficiently as possible.
St. Mary Cabins
Working directly under contract with Pursuit International, this project is located in Saint Mary, Montana and involved the construction of 41 modular cabins. Civil Solutions took this project from preliminary design phase to completion while coordinating with landscape architects and other members of the design team throughout. Civil Solutions designed the water and sewer distribution systems as well as tackled the site grading and roadway layouts.

E 6th St.
This Project involved the reconstruction of 2,000 feet of a E 6th Street in Whitefish, Montana between Spokane Avenue and Pine Avenue. These projects require public outreach and meetings upfront that help lead the design. After working through from preliminary design to the Construction stage, civil solutions as covered construction administration services.

Construction Administration Projects
Amazon
Civil Solutions was brought into the construction of Amazon’s new Fulfillment center in Kalispell, Montana. Throughout the project, Civil Solution worked to ensure the construction was in accordance with the approved plans as well as Kalispell specific rules and regulations. Upon completion of the project, it was made known to Civil Solutions by the General Contractor that this project was the quickest constructed fulfillment center that had been completed in Montana to date.
Whitefish City Beach Boat Ramp
This project, located at Whitefish City Beach, involved extending the existing boat ramp to allow greater water depth for boats launching as well as reconstructing the inspection station loop vehicles are routed through prior to launching. These efforts required Civil Solutions to develop a dewatering and cofferdam plan to allow for the excavation and extension of the boat ramp. Once construction began, Civil Solutions was heavily involved in ensuring the construction aligned with the plans and the requirements of varies water protection permits were maintained throughout the course of the project.
